Top Tips to Lose Weight
Every article says the same thing doesn’t it?
Well you’re half right or half wrong depending on how you want to look at it, let’s face it how many of use have actually said we are going to lose weight and stuck to it…and I mean stuck to it. Exactly. Well there is no easy way to do it I’m afraid and no amount of diet or slimming pills will help you, it is really down to good old fashioned exercise, healthy eating and dare I say it…will power. Yes that word will power isn’t one we all like to hear, especially when it comes to losing weight. The trick is to take one step at a time with it, for starters maybe cutting just one certain food out of your diet and replacing it with another, let’s say for example you eat a lot of chocolate bars…well cut out the chocolate bars through the week and replace them with a piece of fruit. Hard to do I know it will be since you will be in a routine but believe me it will be worth the hardship, you may not feel the difference right away but giving it time you will soon see it as well. Now once you feel comfortable replacing some sweets or snack foods in your diet, the next part is to actually make the effort to lose it by doing some exercise. Now don’t start off by trying to run a marathon or going crazy at the gym, just ease into it slowly by doing a few stretches to loosen up your muscles and then start by doing a few gentle exercises. Sit ups work best for toning that stomach up even by doing ten a night can make the world of difference, the vital part is to take it slowly. If you start to rush through this because you can’t physically see a difference you will end up failing, and there is nothing worse than trying hard at something and then failing at the last hurdle because of impatience. Once you have gotten into a regular pattern of sit ups and by increasing the number of them by a bit each time you find it easy, then you can starting thinking about maybe taking up a more active sport or activity. I would advise swimming as that uses all your muscles, try and get over the hang up of not looking good in a swim suit though. It is all in the mind, everyone at the pool will be there for their own business not to gawp at you.
Really it is down to will power and your mind set, start to think you are losing weight and you will. Start thinking positive about yourself and what you are doing, from personal experience I began to think I was losing weight and combined with eating less but no regular exercise I lost 2 stone in 2 months. So to all the women and men out there that want to lose weight but think it’s never going to work…WRONG!!
Just get your mind on it, be focused and you shall reap the rewards.
