Weight Loss 101
A body for the ages.
Hi There guys and gals. I just wanted to share something with you. I am getting married in May and I decided that I should get in better shape for my wedding and upcoming honeymoon. Having lost weight before using the Atkins Diet Plan, I decided to do it again. I am proud to announce that I have lost 10 lbs since beginning on Jan 2, 09!!! The induction phase of the diet requires that you cut out almost all carbs and eat more protein enriched meals. I have to say that I love it. I eat a high protein breakfast of mostly eggs and bacon or sausage. I have a nice small salad for lunch. For dinner I usually cook up either some chicken breasts or pork chops along with a small side of green beans(very low carbs) and a small amount of mashed potatoes.
I am also working out 3 times a week!!! It is not so much as a diet as a new way of living. I am also very motivated by the fact that my Best Man is also dieting and working out with me. We have found a great website to use as a guide, Bodybuilding.com. It allows you to upload before and progress pictures, which we both did. And I have to tell you, that is a very good motivator to keep working out. I am in week 3 of my program and I have to say that things are working out very well. Keep checking back for updates and I will keep you posted. My fiancee and I are honeymooning in St. Maartens, and I have to say that that is also a powerful motivator as well!!! Well off to the gym to continue working on turning this keg belly into 6 pak abs!!!!!!!
