Weight Loss Blog: 23/2
23 is my lucky number, but this is not my lucky day.
As you all know, I am in university on a Thursday and I have to get up at 6am which I don’t really like at the time. When I got to my lecture theatre this morning, we were told that the lecture was not on, and this was something that annoyed me greatly because of the fact that I had taken so long to get there in the morning. However, my friends and I went for a chat in the canteen and stayed there for two hours so I guess that it was alright for this reason, but I was still a little bit annoyed by it.
When I stepped out of the canteen, I realised just how sunny it was, and it was the first time since last summer that I felt as though I was too hot in what I was wearing. This is something that I have waited for since it was last sunny, as I am not in the slightest bit keen on the winter and the dark/cold nights.
It made me start thinking about the things that I am going to change when I leave university and when the summer starts properly. I have decided that I need to build more exercise into my daily routine, because I am losing weight too slowly at the moment and I want to be able to get down to my target weight for when I have my graduation ceremony. I have 22 more pounds to lose, which means that I could lose the weight well before this if I get my mind sorted and put my new found energy to good use.
Walking is a fantastic way to lose weight, and this is made so much easier when the weather is nice just because it makes me want to leave the house and go walking around my house. I am lucky because I live near a lot of fields, and this means that I can just put my trainers on, take a bottle of water, and take a couple of hours out of my day to just go and walk around my local area. It makes me glad that I don’t live in the city, because I don’t think that I would enjoy walking around there as well.
I am hoping to have a very healthy weekend as I could do with having a bit of a boost to this whole weight loss thing, however it is going to get an awful lot easier now the summer is clearly on the way. I only have 22 more pounds to lose, and the sooner those pounds are gone, the better.
