Day of temptation.

One of the bad things about the summer is that there is a lot of food and drink around for us to be tempted with, and this means that I have had to try and be very strong this weekend. I don’t mind admitting that I have been a bit weak with regards to this issue, and I know that it is something that I am going to have to sort out if I am going to get rid of the rest of this weight in the amount of time that I would like to. Ideally, I could do with losing two pounds every week between now and my goal, and this is something that I don’t really think that I am going to be able to do because of the fact that it takes a lot more exercise now for me to be able to burn the same number of calories as I might have been able to in the past. 

So, in the evening, my family came around for a BBQ and we had an absolutely lovely night. One of the bad things about it was that there was a lot of food and cake, and although I managed to stay away from the wine which was a great thing, but I still ate far too much of the foods that were not good for me, and this means that I have a lot of catching up to do over the course of the next couple of months. I plan to burn at least 500 calories per day, and this should mean that I am able to lose two pounds per week. Ideally, for the first couple of weeks, I would be burning even more as this would mean that I should be able to lose a little bit more just to give myself a bit of a kick start in the right direction before I get into a normal routine to get the rest of these pounds shifted.

I would love to start swimming, as I think that this would be the best thing for me to do to be able to tone up the body that I have left, and that it something that I really should be aiming for in the last couple of weeks. I have not been able to get a swimming costume since I was six stone heavier, so I am going to have to buy one before I am able to go. I should be able to get to the shops at some point during the course of the week, and then I will be able to get into the routine of going swimming every week. My Mother said that it is something that she wants to do as well so this means that I am not going to be on my own when I am going, which should really help me when I am trying to decide when to go. So, after the weekend, I have a lot to do because I have to be able to get rid of the rest of this weight very soon. I am going to stop eating anything after my dinner, and I am going to try to cut my calories right down as far as I can, as this will mean that I should be able to lose a fair amount. I could do with losing three pounds this week, and then I will be on the path to losing the amount of weight that I need to.
