Weight Loss Challenge! Week One
For any or all that are interested in the challenge, here is week one.
I have been thinking a lot on this challenge for the past week. I think it should be as interactive as possible, and fun.
Week One: Goals and overview.

I will put my responses in this article itself.
I think to start off the challenge, we should give an overview on a few different things. First, why we want to do a challenge. Do we need extra motivation? Something to help us get started on a better path?
For me, I wanted to do a challenge because I need extra motivation to get back on track. I started my lifestyle change earlier in 2009 and fell off the wagon sometime during the summer and have had the hardest time getting started again. I was so proud when I had lost 15 pounds, and I want to get to that point again, and then go on to lose even more.
What diet plan are you on, if you are on one?
My diet plan (or lifestyle change) is calorie counting. There is still a lot of research I need to do on how to properly calorie count and get all the nutrients needed, but its a step by step process. I also plan to work out 3-4 times a week for at least 20 minutes to start out.
Goals:

This week, I wanted to focus on big goals or long term goals. What are your long term goals? What is the bigger picture for you?
For me, I have over 50 pounds to lose, so I know it will be a long process, and even a lifetime process to maintain the weight.
Goal Card.
Find a card/piece of paper/anything small that you can keep with you. On the piece of paper write your long term goal on one side, and any inspiring quotes or messages to help keep you inspired.
Then, keep the card with you whenever you know you will need some inspiration.
I saw the card idea on a weight loss challenge video, and I thought it was a good idea – so I thought I would incorporate it here.
Weekly Task: Should you choose to accept it.
What one thing are you going to do this week to get to your goal. This one thing has to be something you are sure you CAN stick to!
I am going to watch my calories and make sure I don’t go over my 1600 limit.
What will you do?
