Weight-Loss with Slim Fast Products

At first I bought Slim Fast in Vanilla with coworkers at my employer. I was working as a human resources benefit specialist in the health insurance offices. Other coworkers were contacted about losing weight and going on the to do so.

They all but 2 of use chose not to try it. I was severely overweight with my height barely 5 ‘ 6″ tall and 210 pounds  My coworker wanted to drop 60 pounds I wanted to drop even more weight. We decided to exercise and include the Slim fast diet to our day up north. Being from Florida if your well and feeling good you are open to thousands of options for any type of outdoor sport and losing weight is a sinch.  We were in snow, blizzards and subzero temperatures making it even easier to do I hated sweating anyway.  We decided to speed walk on our lunch our up to 5 miles per day every single day .  Wang laboratories provided a oversized set of showers for female employees a bathroom, dressing room and major name brand cafateria.  We both grabbed socks tennis shoes, change of clothes, soap shampoo blow dryer and brought it to work Overnight we changed our habits quit smoking from one pack to 2 cigarettes a day purchasing ultra lights.  We set goals for the future in the womens clothing department by choosing the next lowest size of jeans we were going to be wearing and a few Bon Jovi concerts to attend was the future reward for losing the weight.  The Slim Fast diet at the time required 2 shakes a day replacing 2 meals.

My friend best and coworker Cheryl got into her car and drove down the major strip in a historical old town in the united States.  She checked her mileage clock for 1.5 miles and 2 miles from our employer the Wang buidling.  Once at work we met out front with our shorts and tennis shoes.  Each lunch hour we both walked as fast as we could to her mark of 1.5 miles, turned around and sped walked back to work. We….our team…showered and even had time to eat lunch our 1 meal of the day . This consisted of pita bread with mustard and a piece of turkey sliced with tomatoe and lettuce. Overnight we both cut sugar, fat, and cokes, pepsis out of our diet alltogether. I started buying Equal sweetener, diet cokes, diet pepsi, low fat salad dressings, salt was out alltogether, broiled foods were in no fried foods at all. We really wanted to lose the weight we all had small children and had gained excessive pounds we were going to lose.

This was very difficult to speed walk 3 miles  a day after doing nothing for about 11 years at all. We had to buy running shoes later on within about 7 days of speed walking 21 miles a week is all we walked as fast as we could.  The tennis shoes we had were flat and not designed or manufactured for walking jogging or running at all in the snow or rain. These flat tennis shoes caused a lot of pain overworked my muscles and made this losing weight more difficult I almost quit. 

The slim fast has diuretics that supress your appetite for up to 4 hours after you drink or consume each shake and I made sure that I drank my shakes with a banana or other fruit being diabetic I had to change my eating habits. Exercise can make your stomach muscular and smaller. My children had become overweight with fatty foods I became more concerned about the hardening of their arteries not just mine.  We Went to fresh vegetables and fruits with a lean meat counters in the store I bought only these items.  I bought juices to drink. Spending more money on these items than our diet before I hated the taste of the fat free foods Ireally did it was very difficult to do. The taste of fake sugar had an aftertaste that I found not worth buying it at all. But it was worth it soon every item in the home was fresh fruit a fresh vegetable and lean meats with juices, whole fresh grains and good things. Honey was new you think it was not new to me at all. Being with a sick adult on a medically prescribed diet my father all of his life. This is not new. Diabetes, hypertension, high blood pressure, hepatits, pancreatitis, chronic kidney disease my dad had it all these medical life threatening problems you think thats it the nurse my parents hired in the home to care for their children for 13 years and she graduated from dietetics school and pediatrics school been on a diet all my life since first memory,

Within 7 days I became used to the new taste of fresh stuff and these diet foods and knew no different but it was difficult.

We kept speed walking every single day on our lunch hour 3 miles each day.  We had to buy books and magazines about running and breathing it got difficult we learned breathing techniques we suddenly needed we didnt need in track and field as children i never had an thesis in breathing I won awards without this.

In the first three months the training to go from speed walking to running was excruciating business. I turned red and didnt think I could do this at all. By the third month after speed walking for 2 weeks we started jogging every day at lunch no longer walking or speed walking anymore.  This 3 mile jog was very difficult  the first 2nd two weeks on the Slim Fast diet.  We dieted for 3 months and ran for 3 to 5 miles every single day at the same time and started to drop the pounds I lost over 85 pounds by the 90th day.  I went from a size 18 to a size 1 and kept losing weight. I had been sedentery for over 11 years just working for other people 3 jobs to make the cash we needed. I worked this is all I ever did. 

I realized after losing the pounds that i kept losing and could do this with the Slim Fast and at times that I was not hungry for 5 days at a time.  This was marvelous I like to eat but I want to eat what I really want to eat and really dont want my arteries caked with stuff or my chikldrens and families. 

My metabolism was not interested in losing weight but the jogging and slamming all that weight 210 pounds on the concrete in tennis shoes with all that padding did not hurt my muscles at all it was my lungs were working overtime it was very difficult.  We also find that my person joints and muscles just had not been working I really shocked my metabolism into gear and did drop more weight kept coming off.  I did build large quantities of muscle in my legs. 

I went off of my life sustaining diet and began to gain weight it took me 18 years to gain almost all of it back. I became disabled and could not run at all.

There are a few things that I wish I had added to the running every day of my life .  Arms weights for both wrists noticing the muscles and the fat and cellulite loss in both arms the chest and stomach after three months it was gone my legs looked like gross with cellulite from my ankles to my neck.  I wish that I had worn ankle weights too realizing that I could have dropped even more weight faster.  This running and changing my eating habits it went away all of it by the age of 24 this birthday I had dropped 85 pounds and was physically fit. I felt great to run in the snow blizzard. Once we noticed on the scales that this Slim Fast product and the running was making drastic changes to our weight and sculpting us to look like someone else in the face in the legs we had to buy new clothes with smaller sizes.  These clothes no longer fit us at all  dropping 8 to 16 sizes in three months.  I kept losing however and I was in the girls section wearing a childs 16 at day 91. 

The cellulite was really gross and I though that my husband was having an affair for one second and I needed to drop the weight his girl this time looked better than me but not in 3 months with her clothes and pants maybe and she had a better job and I dont care I missing my family in florida now more than a second. She had r1 credit was single and had no children. I need to do this for my health.. I found that I have strong  bones  and could do this that cellulite vanished i was telling the fat off with all this weight hitting the pavement it was asure thiing to lose. Lighter weight people it might take longer to lose it or rid yourself of cellulite that grows from what we eat and being sedentary. 

I was always thin growing up and know what to eat and what not to eat by about 7 years old I was well educated by a pediatrics nurse. For over 18 years I remained thin all my life never fat or obsese well maybe one summer I got eating bon bons on summer break i had taken home economics in high school i learned to cook french pastries and cooked them all day at home in melbourne florida.  I cooked hundreds of them for myself had dreams about sugar and coke and things I couldnt have skinny .  I turned these dreams into a reality by baking hundreds of fresh french pastries stuffed with homemade vanilla custard pudding and chocolate fudge topping and hid them in my mouth and stomach before my parents got home from Harris corporation local computer manufacturer and the air force base.  I ate hundreds of them and hid the fact.  I saved a few for them for dinner for my brother and my mom and dad at least I think they were my parents mix up at the hospital an old women was entering it and mixing up the twins and tossing them around in pediatrics nobody knew some infants went to the wrong mothers unaware found this out about her in brevard county floida all really funny you think. This 20 pound gain my mother too and dad made a comment about how fat she had become and the pudding takes an immediate turn to exercise machines in the home . These are now antiques for purchase if you see one let me know. My mother called overeaters anonymous and we went to the meetings its an emergency .  In came the weightwatchers and the scales over the fatsos we had become we really weren’t that fat at all it wasnt that bad but she insisted!!

These french pastries with vanilla custard was my opportunity my brother and I had become too old for a baby sitter a nanny and she went on to care for her daughter and younger children her specialty was pediatrics time to say goodbye my brother had turned 13 years of age and I was 15. When  heard the news that the nanny and nurse was going on and hired because of my mothers health problems i snuck around by 14 never having a coca cola one time sneaking around on my dad to the Dairy Queen my mom , brother and I . This one summer I gained 22 pounds without the nanny here I ate every thing with sugar i could find never having it before never tasting it at all with pediatrics nurse in the home and a doctor we never had it. I had tasted butter all my life a small slab each morning with breakfast for my boiled egg plenty of milk and water and stuff that is good for you name it we had it. 500 pounds of fresh tomatoes , fresh strawberries from the farms in florida we went to pick it ourselves , fresh citrus not 2 oranges but 500 pounds of watermelon is what we ate at home as children.  A few poptarts and a piece of fried chicken that was moms cooking and she didnt get to cook often she cooked in fatback and grease dad wouldnt let her

At this time I gained weight but our mom took us to the pool an to the beach and roller skating these pounds extra were gone over the summer and I was thin or close by the time school began again.

After this weight loss I decided to maintain it by reducing the amount of exercise to 3 times a week for 30 minutes a day. Within the last 4 months I hear of someone who did a lot of walking and exercising not sure told she did walk a lot and was elderly and her heart muscle became over sized never heard of it before.  The heart is a muscle grew too large for her internally and proceeded to press against her lungs I heard she could not breath too late for a heart transplant became not possible i just dont understand this at all. Consideringher weight was light makes no sense to me but it happened too much exercise is not good for you Im finding this out. I supposed reducing the amount of protein could have reduced the growth of the heart.

We ran in snow blizzards with 6 feet of snow and the results were beyond expectations. I could not believe how much weight that I lost and how much muscle that I built and how strong I became in only three months one women claiming she lifted over 1200 pounds that is at 20 years old or 26 years old not 50 years old.
