Birth Control Impairs Judgment in Choosing a Good Mate
Birth Control has become more of a liability each decade. From weight gain and acne to stroke or heart attack, we look at the newest scientific claim against birth control.
No babies for me, at least not yet. With all of the disclosed risks of birth control pills I continue to feel that having a child in the past or in the present would be a worse fate.
The newest scientific blurb I came across regarding birth control warns women that if they were taking birth control pills when they met their boyfriend, she may have made a biological mistake.
We have all heard that nature plays a role in who we choose as our mate in order to allow reproduction of strong genes. The study suggests that the effects of birth control pills on a woman’s hormones impairs her biological senses in choosing a good mate to match with her genes. The result? Weaker genes for their children.
An interesting study that I will keep my eye on.
P.S. I was not on birth control when I met my husband. We are married 4 years and going strong!
