Danger Signs of Pregnancy
There are things that need to know regarding pregnancy and some Danger signs of it although pregnancy is a normal process,there are some cases which are in serious trouble and needs a lot of care.
We all know that pregnancy is a normal process for the women.However,in some cases,some serious trouble may happen unexpectedly.If any of the following happens,it is better to call the doctor at once or go the nearest hospital or clinic in your town.
Vaginal Spotting or Bleeding
Any bleeding from the vagina at anytime during pregnancy should be reported immediately to a doctor.Vaginal bleeding or even spotting could be the beginning of a premature labor or perhaps a miscarriage.The best thing to do is to lie flat in the bed with the feet elevated until the doctor comes.Stay calm and do not be unduly excited.There are many pregnant women who are able to continue their pregnancy and have a normal baby despitea vaginal spotting or bleeing.Try not to be alone in the house or call someone or your neighbors who can assist you when you need something.In this case,you need to be extra careful to avoid more bleeding and spotting to the vaginal area.
Swelling of Face, Hands and Feet
If you experience swelling that develop in the face and the other parts of the body,there is the big possibility of kidney trouble or something is wrong with your blood circulation.The urine should be tested immediately for your doctor to take the necessary steps to prevent any possible complication.
Dyspnea or Extreme Shortness of Breath
This may indicate something serious especially if the woman has to sit up to catch her breath.It is better to notify the doctor at once when this occurs to avoid complications.
Other signs that call for attention of the obstetrician are:
- Chills or fever
- Severe or persisten headache
- Dizziness,paleness,weakness, or fainting spells
- Rapid weight gain
- Watery discharge without labor pains and before the expected time of delivery
Any of this signs can mean that something serious is happening and these indicate the need for every pregnant woman to be under the care of an obstetrician.
Always take care and observe if there are signs that might be matching this one.
