Some Odds:
A common question is: Will I get pregnant this month, or next, or etc? For most couple’s trying to get pregnant, the odds that she’ll become pregnant during the month are 15% to 25% percent. But some other things that could make it even harder are:
- Age: After you reach an age around 30 your chances drop and when you reach your 40’s they drop a lot more.
- Frequency of sex: The less you have sex the less likely you are to get pregnant. That seems pretty obvious right? Well quite a few people don’t actually realize they don’t do it enough and they have a very hard time getting pregnant.
- Irregular Menstrual cycle: Having an irregular cycle means its hard to know when your ovulating which means it’ll be hard to tell when you should have sex.
- Illnesses or medical conditions can also mess up your odds of getting pregnant.
- Amount of time you’ve been trying: If you’ve been trying for a year or over and have yet to get pregnant you should probably stop reading this and see about going to the Dr and having a female and male infertility test.
Sorting Out Your Cycle:
Women seem to get pregnant faster if they know about their menstrual cycle. It has been shown that many women do not know about their cycle and how it works. Your cycle begins when you notice red blood (not just spotting) and ends before your next cycle begins. The length can vary anywhere from 21 to 35 days or more. If you notice that your cycle changes by a few days from one month to the next then you are considered irregular.
Having Sex:
How often should I have sex? Often is the answer I would give to anyone who was trying to get pregnant. A lot of couple spend time on planning sex by doing some mathematical problems to the woman’s ovulation. Which should work but recent studies shows that the window to actually get pregnant is a really small one. It’s actually only 4 to 5 days before ovulation and the day of ovulation that you have any chance of getting pregnant. Your best chances of getting pregnant are the day before and the day of ovulation so it would be a wise decision to have sex often during that 4 to 5 day period.
The pill and getting off of it:
Couple’s often wonder how long it take’s for the effects of the pill to wear off after one has quit it. It turns out that it is actually possible to get pregnant right after quitting the pill (as soon a the hormones are out of your system) although in many cases it can be awhile before a woman’s ovulation starts up again.

it’s weird how married couples find it hard to have a baby knowing that they are ready to be parents and they can give all the needs while teenagers who are not yet mature enough get pregnant for just like uhhhh two trials? that proves age is indeed a factor.

Stress is also another factor why some women can’t get pregnant. Obesity is another. Thanks for sharing this.
