Pregnant Biography

The newspaper article I chose researched if there was a chance that pregnant woman who smoke could suffer from depression. The article states that telling people the dangers from smoking is not enough to keep people from doing it.

The doctors and people studying this issue want to find out what keeps the woman from not quitting even when they are pregnant. Through their studies they somehow linked depression on many woman who were pregnant and smoking. The method I felt they used in this research was survey/research.

The reason I chose this method was because they state that 46 million Americans or one in five adults smoke. They would have had to find out how many cigarettes packs were bought and they also had to look up how many people smoke from past research.

Also they fact that the article states more than 1,500 pregnant woman were tracked and took part in a study of Americans Health. The researched seemed credible because there were many doctors that took part in this and there were also many universities that were listed.
