Scientists Develop A Blood Cleansing Machine

The hemopurifier is also a leading treatment candidate to protect the civilian and military populations from bio-terror threats and emerging pandemic threats like the bird flu and dengue fever that are un-treatable with drugs and vaccines.

Scientists specializing in Infectious Disease have designed a blood purifying machine called the hemopurifier which works much like a dialysis machine, using some tiny sieves to trap and remove viruses from the blood by an amazing process of filtration. The machine draws blood through an artery, which is then directed through a tube into the machine, then back into the body.

It perhaps the greatest medical invention that will save lots of life in Sub-Saharan region where HIV is wreaking havoc on the population with a daily infection rate of 1,400. This machine is going to ensure that the blood is cleaned routinely and making HIV infected people live with the disease for a longer time. The other ailments that this machine will help to treat by blood purification are Hepatitis C, the measles, mumps and the flu. It can also begin working before doctors identify the cause of the illness.

The  hemopurifier (or blood cleansing machine) is designed to clear the viruses and other toxins to prevent the cells and organs from sustained infection. It works like a dialysis machine, where blood flows through the cartridge once every eight minutes. The entire blood cleaning process takes 3-5 hours and the blood is left very free of viruses and toxins.>

A larger version of the machine would be used in a hospital, but a smaller one could be taken to emergencies. It could be a life-safer against the avian flu or bio-weapons like Ebola and small pox, giving people a chance to survive a deadly attack, whether it’s from a terrorist or a virus. The hemopurifier is also a leading treatment candidate to protect United States civilian and military populations from bio-terror threats and emerging pandemic threats like the bird flu and dengue fever that are untreatable with drugs and vaccines.
