Alcohol - The Major Cause of Cancer

Cancer is the disease that kills most people in the world.

Alcohol and cancer 

Several studies highlight the direct link tooth alcohol consumption and cancer. As alcohol consumption increases with both REST and cancer risk. Alcohol is directly liable esophageal cancer, farinde, larynx and colon.

Risks of alcohol 

Alcohol is converted into a chemical substance called acetaldehyde. This substance is responsible for hangover. But acetaldehyde and DNA damage cells, leading to cancer. 

People who consume too much alcohol and who smoke have a high level of acetaldehyde in saliva. Although there is no clear evidence to show that alcohol is a carcinogen, it may affect the structure of human body cells. 

Alcohol interacts with certain enzyme that normally helps detoxify the body and harmful substances that enter. Contact with alcohol these enzymes increase the toxicity of certain carcinogens. Also, along with alcohol and poor nutrition, alcohol increases the risk of bowel cancer. 

Excessive consumption of alcohol can result in abnormalities of how nutrients are processed. Alcohol reduces levels of iron, zinc, vitamin E and some B vitamins in the body. Also, alcohol interferes in the proper functioning of the immune system.Thus, alcoholics are more prone to infections and cancer. 

Alcohol absorption of hazardous chemicals, with mouth and throat. These include substances that cause cancer and tobacco. Also, alcohol reduces folic acid in the body. Folic acid is a type of vitamin B that helps create a correct DNA. 

Limit alcohol 

As more alcohol is consumed, the cancer risk is higher. When you drink alcohol, limit to 1 to 2 drinks per day. In small amounts, alcohol reduces the risk of heart disease, especially in men over 40 and women over 55 years. 

Limiting alcohol consumption reduces the risk of cancer. Even among alcoholics fans, giving up alcohol drastically reduces cancer risk, particularly the esophagus.
