Weight Loss Blog: 27/5

Trying to get back to it.

So, today I decided that it was the time to try and start getting my diet back to the way that it had been for the start of my weight loss, as this was the diet that meant that I could achieve the most with regards to losing the weight. I decided that today would be the day that I got back to the diet, and that tomorrow would be the day that I got back to the exercise again. So, I had a bowl of cereal for my breakfast and a nutrigrain bar for my lunch, and then had casserole for my dinner which was absolutely lovely. Just as I said, I didn’t snack in the evening, and I was very pleased with myself that I have managed to stop myself from snacking as it can be very hard to do this when it is hot and everyone else is eating ice cream and things like that.

One of the things that I also need to start working on is the amount of water that I am drinking. There is no way that I have been drinking enough over the course of my journey so far, and this is something that I am going to start working on from now. I am going to make sure that I always have a bottle with me as this means that I am much more likely to take a sip whereas if I would have to get up and get a glass from the tap then there would be no way that I would drink even half as much as I am doing at the moment. So, today I had a cup of tea with my breakfast, and one in the evening, and a large glass of orange squash with my dinner. In addition to this, I also made the effort and had two other bottles of water during the day, which is very good for me as I don’t normally drink that much. I think that this might prove to be the trick with my weight loss from now on, as I have always been hearing about people who have been drinking lots of water to be able to lose weight and now it looks as though I am going to be one of them. 

I have been thinking a lot about the types of exercise that I am going to be doing to kick start my weight loss again, and I have to say that I am looking forward to everything quite a lot now that I have been able to get my head around starting it up again. I am determined to be able to get the bikini body that I have always wanted, and I want to be able to wear something really nice for the beach this summer without having to worry about whether I look as good as the other girls who are on the beach as well. So, by August, I am going to be at my goal weight with a body that I can be proud of, and I will be on that beach with everybody else. It will probably start to rain as soon as I hit my goal weight knowing my luck, but I am still going to really try my best to be able to get this done, because my weight problems have been going on for far too long now and it is about time that I was able to report a good loss and was able to say that I have finally beaten my demons.
