   The incentive may be particularly strong now, with the  recent FDA reports regarding the ineffectiveness, risks, side effects of over-the-counter cold and flu treatments in children and adults.  With this said the public is turning “as stated” to a more natural approach to wellness….Let’s take a look for what Natural can do for you.

  Give the body what it need, keep a constant supply of nutrients in your body to ensure that the body can resist any pathogen it encounters, you will be supporting the body to function optimally and functioning at peak immunity.  So here are some tips and tricks to combat the bite of the flu season…..

Lets start with some little know conventional methods such as the use of certain herbs such as:

Garlic- A natural antibiotic, anti fungal, and antibacterial, garlic can tackle and handle almost any illness. For the most potent effect, finely mince 1-2 cloves of garlic add to a cup of boiled water and steep, like tea. Drink quickly.  Garlic works best when consumed raw, either crushed, diced, or minced. Overcooking garlic may destroy important medicinal compounds and the enzymes necessary for it to be effective.

Cinnamon & Honey- Good for stabilizing blood sugar, cinnamon and honey is an effective antiviral and antibiotic. When sick, mix 1 tablespoon with 1 teaspoon of honey in boiling cup of water and stir to make a spicy and very effective tea that helps relieve cough and congestion and lower fever.
