11 Reasons Why People Commit Suicide

The drastic decision to end one’s own life can either be psychological or psychosomatic. Most of the reasons are in some way related to depression, or from some other illness that can trigger these feelings. Whether suicide is done in private or on YouTube, it makes a statement. Sometimes people who commit suicide will leave behind a written explanation as to why they did it, whereas some will not. For those who successfully take their own life, the one question that always arises is: why? It is the one question that haunts those who have lost someone to suicide for many years after the person’s death. Interestingly, people who’ve survived an attempted suicide often mention that they weren’t altogether eager to die but were just tired of living, which is a paradox in itself. With that thought in mind, it is very possible that many suicidal people would rather choose suspended animation or being in a 10-year coma as an alternative to death if they could.
