Kamay Ni Hesus: Healing Center in The Philippines

The Kamay ni Hesus (Hand of Jesus) Healing Center is in Lucban, Quezon, the Philippines. It’s where people receive the miracle of healing. Catholic healing priest, Joseph A. Faller made it possible. Many faithful in the Philippines and abroad have been healed of ailments like cancer through Father Faller.

The story of the Kamay ni Hesus Healing Center in the Philippines is a long one, but it is a story which shows how one man is able to heed the call of God to do miracles even when his faith faltered. For Father Faller, it was as if he was being led all the time towards his path of healing. It came as a surprise, even for Faller, when people who heard him say mass and were prayed over by him were miraculously healed.

Hands of Christ

Signs came which Faller saw as messages which put him in the right direction and solidified his being an instrument of God. In Jerusalem, two doves came down upon him as he prayed in the location of The Pentecost.  In 1994, an accident which nearly cost him his life turned into his defining moment when Father Faller embraced his gift of healing. The small finger and index finger of his right hand became permanently curled and no amount of operation was able to straighten them out. Faller saw this as a reflection of the hands of the Child Jesus and the Risen Christ. For him, it confirmed his role as an instrument of God in healing people.

It is that curled hand which has now become the symbol of Jesus’ healing presence in Father Faller. It is a reminder to everyone that God’s hand is what’s responsible for the miracles. The Kamay ni Hesus Healing Center also manifests God’s calling for Faller. In 1998, as he attended the International Charismatic Congress in Rome, he had a vision together with Charles Whitehead, then President of the International Catholic Charismatic Renewal Services (ICCRS). What they saw was similar—a building filled with people with illnesses. Faller is in the crowd, seemingly alone, but God is with him.

Kamay ni Hesus Ministry Foundation

The task of building a place of healing seemed daunting to Father Faller. With no resources except for his faith, he pursued the vision and everything fell into place. The project received support from Bishop Ruben T. Profugo’s as well as a parcel of land in Lucban, Quezon where the healing center—fondly called “God’s Building” by Faller, was to be built. Eventually, the Kamay ni Hesus Ministry Foundation was put up which became the facilitator of the Healing Center. Many people who have received blessings through Father Faller and the Healing Center have made contributions for the benefit of the project. The concrete slabs that serve as the pavement beside the church have immortalized their names as well as their hand and foot prints (below). People from all over the world still contribute for the continuation and maintenance of the Center.
