I heard that rosewater was good for your face. My daughter bought some, but had an allergic reaction to it. She is allergic to all flowers. Is there a way to overcome this, so that she can gain the benefits from flowers?

@Jodi
What kind of allergy is that? Many people are allergic to pollen in the flowers. If its that kind of allergy, then infusions and decoctions of flowers wouldnt trigger any allergic response. But going by the fact that she is even allergic to rosewater, im not very sure. I dont think there is any one method that can make your daughter overcome all the allergies, but there are specific poses in yoga that can help people with some kind of allergies.

Hi Valli,
I never knew yoga was a means to helping allergies. I was also surprised she had such a strong response from the rosewater. It is such a shame. Thanks for the idea, I will have to try it.

Jodi, There is nothing shameful about having an allergy! I will also search for more remedies for combating allergies, and will let you know if I find something useful. Cheers!

You forgot Hydrangea. The hydrangea root extract has been used for a long time by Native Americans to improve urinary function, and for problems of the kidneys and bladder.
